Cambium Carbon
Cambium Carbon is building a circular economy for urban forests. By focusing on tree equity, workforce development, and investment in local businesses, Cambium is creating a better future for people and the planet. Cambium is a 2021 Finalist for the Keeling Curve Prize, and Forbes selected Cambium’s founders for its 30 Under 30 List in the Social Impact category.

frakktal
With its circular solution for discarded polymer materials, frakktal addresses the underutilization of polymers via landfilling or integration into lower-value products. frakktal reduces waste emissions and harmful pollutants by utilizing more than 95% waste (including post-industrial polymers, end-of-life-tires, and plant processing byproducts) to create second generation polymer formulations. These thermoplastic elastomers offer the best characteristics of plastics and rubbers (they are recyclable, degradable, and/or repairable), and can be used to replace either across multiple industry applications. frakktal recently joined the 2021 Ion Smart and Resilient Cities Accelerator as part of their third sustainability cohort.
