ClimateRaise is a newsletter for our network that showcases early-stage climate startups led by women founders, and connects them with climate ecosystem partners. The newsletter is short and to the point. We want to provide you with useful information, not flood your inbox with yet another lengthy publication.
We are a volunteer run organization that has been around for over a year. We’ve featured over 60 startups and made well over 200 introductions. We want to hear from you on how we can make our work even more impactful. Who are you, why are you here, how can we make this newsletter even better?

Khepra designs fully electrified chemical reactors that use high intensity focused ultrasound to enable low cost, low footprint manufacturing of sustainable petrochemical alternatives from waste. Khepra is working on a pilot to bring Alabama sustainable chemicals made from sawdust. They have been through both Indiebio SF and Techstars Alabama EnergyTech. They have multiple functioning reactors and are working on scale up to a profit positive pilot commercial volume.

In the last year they have secured members in all 50 states, 20% registered user MOM growth, 45% repurchase rate (2-6X within 6 months), and participated in XRC Labs and Her Future Summit at Google.

Dynamic Grid
Dynamic Grid is helping to meet the world’s climate goals with intelligent and coordinated smart devices to decarbonize the electric power grid. Their grid flexible solutions use near real-time pricing signals to balance the distribution grid, resulting in 76% less infrastructure buildout costs for utilities and reduced customer bills. Dynamic Grid has been awarded the DOE SBIR phase I and II grants, Bird Foundation Grant, and has two US Patents.
