Blip Energy

Blip Energy is defining and building a new category of home battery that works for anyone: it’s affordable, smart, and self-installs. Their mission is to add millions of homes to the smart grid network, provide utilities and grid stakeholders with behind-the-meter data, and build a better and smarter grid for all of us. Their product enables every home to access back-up energy.
They completed the mHUB Hardtech accelerator in Chicago, secured strategic investments from both mHUB’s corporate sponsors: Invenergy and Southern Company via Nicor Gas. They established partnerships with Renewance as a second life battery off-taker, Arrow, a component distributor, and Leap, for demand response and capacity market aggregation. Blip has secured pilot projects with a Community Solar provider to test offering Blip to its customers, as well as Nicor Gas, and Southern Co. in their Smart Neighborhood developments.
